Become a Tutor

Our participants face many challenges, but access to tutoring doesn’t have to be one of them. Get involved by helping them with their coursework and complete assignments through Capital IDEA Houston’s tutoring program. By joining our roster of tutors you will be supporting these talented individuals as they successfully navigate their postsecondary education and accomplish important life goals.

As most of our students are in medical careers, we are always in need of people who can help with math and sciences, but our list of sponsored careers grows regularly and so do the types of courses our students require. Tell us about yourself and the subjects in which you would like to provide tutoring by filling out the volunteer form and we will get back to you about our current needs.
